The "It's Up to Us" block-long mural on the corner of West 25th and Clark is shiny and new once more.
After vandals spray painted more than a third of the artwork with graffiti last fall, muralist
John Rivera-Resto has worked diligently to restore the Clark-Fulton neighborhood piece to its original state. Thanks to a community crowdfunding campaign earlier this year, the work was
completed earlier this month.
The mural, which was named 2015's "Best Public Art" in Scene's annual Best Of poll, was originally completed in 2013.
