A woman in Brunswick, who was a passenger in a vehicle pulled over by police, had an explanation we had not heard before when police asked why her male companion, the one whose license was under suspension mind you, was driving drunk.
According to her, he was the "most sober." Of course, he was still drunk, so police booked them both.
DRUNK DRIVER, NEW MARKET TRAIL: Police pulled a car over at 2:10 a.m. Friday as the driver turned onto Shenandoah Parkway to investigate a strap of some sort hanging from the trunk of the car and dragging on the ground. The driver, a 22-year-old Medina man, was found to be intoxicated and driving under suspension. His passenger, a 22-year-old Medina woman, was also intoxicated and told officers that even though she knew the driver had a suspended license, she let him drive because he was the most sober of person in their group. The woman was additionally charged with wrongful entrustment.
