Jimmy Dimora, Uncut and Unfiltered

Cuyahoga County Commissioner and noted fan of corndogs Jimmy Dimora went off on another one of his trademarked tirades this week. At a meeting to review an audit of the county's finances, Jimmy took a moment (or seven minutes) to let everyone know this has been, is, and will continue to be all about him.

"Indict me or go away," was the theme of the monologue as Dimora railed against the Plain Dealer and the evil "media," asserted he is completely innocent because the audit showed no financial irregularities, and generally looked like a man stressed to the brink of a breakdown. He definitely looked like a man in need of a good massage.

Dimora also pleaded for the electronic media to cover his story. His rationale: The print media are a bunch of hacks who are unfairly targeting DiGiorno Dimora and fabricating stories to besmirch his good name. Let the electronic media and its infinite supply of space and bandwidth save the day!

OK, Jimmy, we bite. Instead of simply relaying quotes or providing our own description of events, we'll just post your full tirade, courtesy of WEWS, so the people can judge for themselves whether you're a corrupt, paranoid, unhinged plague upon the county or whether everyone's just got old Jimmy wrong.
