Jimmy Dimora's Independence home will hit the market in six months, according to a deal cut with the federal government. In that time, Jimmy will continue trying to appeal his case (likely to no avail, given precedence here) and his wife will continue to live there.
If an appeal does succeed, the sale will be off the table.
But outside of that event, Jimmy's Forestwood Drive home — valued at some $440,000 — will be up for sale. Half of the purchase price will go to the federal government.
