The Restock, a consignment sneaker shop owned by Browns star cornerback Joe Haden, recently started carrying vintage Cleveland sports clothing and apparel. Instead of having to look through tons of other old clothes at your local thrift store for that one piece you want, the Restock has carefully curated a lineup of looks that will make what you're wearing different than what everyone else at the Tribe game is wearing.

Yes, you can still go to your local thrift store, but the Restock is the first store in town with a carefully selected stock of vintage clothing.

The Restock (645 Prospect Ave.) opened in 2014 and since then has been the go-to spot for sneaker enthusiasts all over Northeast Ohio. The store carries sneakers like Kanye West's Yeezy's (made by Adidas), vintage LeBron James sneakers and hard to find Air Jordans. But not everyone can afford the sometimes exorbitant prices that some of the sneakers cost.

"This is a way to get more people in the door," says store manager Joe Wisniewski. "It creates a different price point for customers."

The store has started to carry more clothing over the years, but it mostly carries brands liked by sneakerheads (i.e., shoes by Supreme, A Bathing Ape and Palace). The store owners decided to add Cleveland sports apparel and some apparel of other teams to that selection. All the sports clothing that they are selling is vintage, picked up mostly from thrift stores and other people's collections. They have everything from vintage Browns jackets to Mark Price jerseys.

"We did a pop-up a few weeks ago to see how the interest would be," says Wisniewski, "and people loved it. It got a lot of interest. It's only been a few weeks, but the items have been doing very well so far."

Vintage and retro is an overall trend in the fashion industry at large right now, and the Restock is capitalizing on that trend. "If you look at the big fashion houses, a lot of their runway items, the popular stuff, are made to look almost used, with holes, shoes that are messed up," says the Restock's Dave VanGieson, the buyer for the store. "Fashion brands are using '90s silhouettes too."

"We just follow what our customer base likes. There's the sports stuff, and then rock band T-shirts are popular. NASCAR too," says VanGieson.

Lucky for the Restock, they don't have any Kyrie Irving apparel to sell. But we're guessing his sneakers could be had for a decent price at this point.
