It's human nature to fantasize about swiping one of those mini pumpkins on our way out of the grocery store, thinking, "who will know?" One man found himself in this all-too-common situation recently, except instead of a mini pumpkin it was an 8-foot-long pig roaster. And instead of nobody knowing, he was caught on tape. Apparently, the temptation to host a backyard BBQ was too great to resist.
On Sept. 18 around 8:30 p.m., a 6'4", 215-pound man was caught on camera stealing a pig roaster from
T.J. Butcker Block and Deli in Lakewood,
19 Action News reports. The video shows him loading the roaster, which is probably worth upwards of $2,000, onto a trailer then driving away in a whitish/silver, early-2000s Ford F-150. He is described as having short brown hair and and dark-framed glasses.
Patrick Carney, we know you're upset about your
feud with Jack White, but this is no way to deal with your emotions.
Anyone with any information — or anyone randomly invited to a large community barbecue in the next few days — is encouraged to call Detective Jim Motylewski at 216-529-6765 or the dispatch center at 216-521-6773.
