Libya's Muammar Gaddafi Reached Out to Dennis Kucinich

What does an embattled Libyan president do when he's on the verge of being ousted from power and scolded by the international community? He calls the Son of Cleveland and staunch peace supporter Dennis! Kucinich, naturally.

Dennis! has been vehemently opposed to U.S. intervention in Libya and NATO's bombings, the latter of which Dennis! took to task for civilian deaths, going so far as to suggest that NATO commanders be prosecuted.

So there's Gaddafi over in Libya looking for an ally, anyone really, to get on his side and leverage against NATO and the world. And here's Dennis!, looking like the guy for the job. According to The Guardian, Gaddafi reached out, offering Dennis! an all-expense paid trip for a peace mission. Surely cables also included pleas for more pictures of Condeleeza Rice as well.
