Lorain County Man Builds Enormous Pirate Ship Addition to His Home for Halloween

Ricky Rodriguez goes all out for Halloween.

The Lorain County man has built an enormous pirate ship addition to his mother's Tacoma Avenue and East 30th Street home, just in time for the Oct. 31 holiday.

The ship, which stands as tall as a second story window, appears as if it's just crashed through the side of the house, following a make-believe ship wreck. To make the wreck look real, Rodriguez, a local carpenter, used vinyl siding, shingles, and bricks- all materials he had on hand.

We've taken a few screengrabs from NewsNet5, but definitely go check out the ship for yourself. Supposedly it's even more phenomenal at night.
