Winter is far from the most forgiving time of year for a beer festival. But, as we trudge back into warmer weather, the Medina Beer Fest is making the wait for summer slightly easier.
Now in its fifth year, the Medina Beer Fest is back Saturday, March 10. The hop-filled event runs from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Weymouth Country Club.
The festival, which brings out hundreds of thirsty patrons, serves as a fundraiser for Main Street Medina, a non-profit which promotes the Medina Historic District. Other festival activities include live music, dancing and a raffle of a beer-stuffed cooler.
Admission for the event is $35 a ticket and includes 10 beer samples, a commemorative glass, and a food ticket. A designated driver ticket is also on sale for $10, and includes the food ticket and commemorative glass, as well as unlimited soda and water.
More information for the festival can be found at mainstreetmedina.com
, with a beer list set to be available soon.
