Minds Matter Cleveland to Host Annual Gala Preview Party at Progressive Field

A few weeks back, we caught up with Minds Matter Cleveland's Sara Elaqad to chat about her role as the senior VP of programs and the ongoing work she and dozens of other volunteers are doing to aid local high school students from low income families achieve academic excellence and land spots at some of the top universities in the country. It's all really great stuff, and if you want to learn more about programming or ways to get involved yourself, click here.

This week, we heard again from Elaqad as details surrounding the Minds Matter of Cleveland Annual Gala Preview Party emerged. This year's event, she said, takes place on Friday, Aug. 21 from 6 - 9 p.m. at Progressive Field's Corner Bar. It will serve both as a fundraiser for student programming, as well a chance to celebrate the year's successes, which most recently includes a new partnership with Baldwin Wallace University.

Prior to Aug. 19, tickets are $30 (two drinks) or $60 (open bar). Light appetizers, live music, and a raffle are also included. On Aug. 20, the ticketing tiers jump to $35 and $65, respectively.

Additional details for the gala preview party can be found right here. Stay tuned for more information on the gala itself, which is slated to take place on Nov. 7 at the Terrace Club at Progressive Field.
