Morning Brew: Bowling Alley Funeral, LeBron Pendant Update, Unemployment, and RTA in the Warehouse District

Good morning, Cleveland. Here's some stuff to read while you turn the air conditioner up to 11, or something like that.

— That LeBron James pendant that's been in the news? Well, there's another update. The woman who bought it for $5 at a garage sale and who was selling it on eBay now claims that Maverick Carter, LeBron's manager, called her and said it belonged to him, then bullied her into handing the $10k necklace over. Having already kicked Cleveland in the collective nuts, LeBron appears to be going individual by individual now. (WEWS)

— Ohio's unemployment rate improved from 10.7% to 10.5% in June. Yippee! (AP)

— Two sons held their father's funeral at an Akron bowling alley. You've heard of midget bowling, but what about casket bowling? Surely that would tax the ball returner. (AP)

— RTA would like to make a transit center in the Warehouse District in hopes of encouraging mass transit. Count Scene employees among the supporters. We've been writing them letters for years about adding faster routes from W. 9th and Superior, where the Scene's offices are, to the Map Room. Such a long walk. (Cleveland.com)
