— The Reverend Al Sharpton and Akron Beacon Journal columnist Bob Dyer will be guests on a future episode of the Dr. Phil show to discuss the case of Kelley Williams-Bolar, the mother who lied about the residency of her children so they could attend a better school. Williams-Bolar will also appear on the show. Sharpton had spoken out vociferously in support of the mother while Dyer had been critical of her. (Ohio.com)

— A plan to renovate Hopkins would include the demolition of the long-term parking garage and the installation of a surface-level parking lot, which makes sense if the plan is to accommodate fewer cars. (Cleveland.com)

— A second police officer is in trouble in an assault incident involving a female inmate. The officer allegedly stood by and did nothing as the inmate was beaten. (WOIO)
