New Mural Coming to Cleveland's Iconic Water Tower This Summer

Cleveland Water's iconic Garrett Morgan surge tank is officially getting an update.

Friday, the Cleveland City Planning Commission approved the watery-blue mural design of Spanish artist Sam3, which was commissioned with the help of LAND Studio.

Painting for the new public artwork is set to begin this summer, but an exact timeline has yet to be set.

And while this mural is all well and good, we're still behind Cleveland's most-inspired change.org petition, which suggested turning the water tower into a LEGO Man minifigure.
