The Cleveland Tenants Organization launched a
new website today to help make the legal system easier for renters to navigate.
If your landlord skipped out on giving back your security deposit, for example, the site has forms you can print and fill out. The point of the forms and letters is to give landlords and the court system a paper trail, says the Cleveland Tenants Organization.
With
thousands flocking to Cleveland, the demographics of exactly who uses CTO as a resource is shifting too. Most people who contacted the organization in years past were typically low income renters. Now, people contacting CTO for help are more of a mixed bag.
Just in case anyone is #TeamLandlords, the new website has information that
benefits landlords as well.
