One of the best ski/boarding seasons in recent memory is officially coming to a close in Northeast Ohio this weekend. Of Cleveland's three closest ski resorts, Boston Mills and Brandywine in Peninsula stay open through Sunday, while Alpine Valley in Chesterland is already closed.

Brandywine's Party in the Park, which features skiing, live music and giveaways, kicks off at at 3:30 p.m. today and rolls on through 9 p.m. Boston Mills is closed for Friday's celebrations, but opens for skiing and snowboarding Saturday and Sunday. On those days, Brandywine is only open for tubing.
