Ross Verba's motto: If you're gonna go debt, go big.

Add another epithet to Ross Verba's name: deadbeat. The former Browns linemen was arrested in Wisconsin last week on a warrant for allegedly passing bad checks in Las Vegas. Verba faces two felony counts of theft for writing bad checks at a casino — one for $20,000 and another for $30,000. This isn't the first time that Verba made an ass of himself in Vegas. In 2005, he reported won half a million bucks gambling, then promptly blew most of it on a pool party that including paying $10,000 each to seven women to take part in a "hard body" contest. Most embarassingly of all, he was also seen partying with Paris Hilton and Tara Reid. Apparently, what happens in Vegas only stays there if you pay your debts. -- Kevin Hoffman
