A new report from the Anti-Defamation League lays out the surge of white supremacist propaganda on college campuses since September 2016 — 346 total incidents, with a distinct increase in the 2017 calendar year, particularly in the fall semester.

Ohio colleges and universities reportedly clocked in with the 6th most incidents nationwide (14), eclipsed only by Virginia (16), Florida (17), Pennsylvania (18), California (43) and Texas (61). Those incidents include rallies, posters, stickers and assorted private speeches led, largely, by alt-right aligned factions.

The most active groups lobbing hate speech and white supremacist garbage at college kids, according to the ADL, are Identity Evropa, Patriot Front, Vanguard America, The Right Stuff, Atomwaffen Division, the Daily Stormer, American Renaissance and the Traditionalist Worker Party.

“White supremacists are targeting college campuses like never before,” ADL CEO Jonathan Greenblatt said in a statement. “They see campuses as a fertile recruiting ground, as evident by the unprecedented volume of propagandist activity designed to recruit young people to support their vile ideology.”

White supremacist Richard Spencer has continued his irregular speaking tour of colleges. Kent State denied his request to appear on campus on May 4 for an event. Spencer's lawyer has threatened KSU with a lawsuit if the university doesn't arrange an alternate date.
