Talk about getting caught with your hand in the cookie jar.

A Toledo, OH-based Girl Scouts cookie sale manager has allegedly failed to hand in more than $10,000 raised by a recent cookie drive.

Despite numerous requests from the Western Ohio Girl Scouts organization, volunteer manager Tarra Kopp, 32, has refused to turn in the, er, dough.

Police were called in to investigate the situation and found that Kopp had written checks and made cash withdrawals from the troop's bank account for a total of $11,986 over a four-month period.

"It was a substantial amount and it's something we don't take lightly," Girl Scouts spokeswoman Shonna King said in an interview with Toledo News Now.

Kopp now faces charges of grand theft.
