To Deaver's credit, he was right about the facts of the matter. But he went too far when he stabbed the other man for not knowing such basic pop culture trivia.
Deaver was sentenced last week to 10 years in prison for felonious assault. That he was a repeated violent offender in the county didn't help. He was convicted of rape and other heinous activities in 2004.
The victim, meanwhile, was OK in the end. Rest assured: He'll never botch a Jay-Z question ever again.
