Peabody's Concert Club set to move by fall

After over a decade at its current location on Euclid Avenue near Cleveland State University, Peabody’s Concert Club will be on the move by the fall. The Plain Dealer has reported that the space which club owner Chris Zitterbart leases will be razed to make room for a new CSU health innovation center. The Rascal House pizza shop will also relocate. The news broke a little early for Zitterbart, who had hoped to nail down a new location before it was announced he had to vacate the old space.

“I didn’t know when the Rascal House was going to close and that changes my timing,” he says. “ I was hoping to wait for the summer when I could make a big formal announcement but it’s out there. I have a few very interesting opportunities that I’m excited about. I want to make sure we’re making the right decision long-term. It was a matter of time before we were going to move with the CSU development. It’s not a shock or surprise. The biggest thing is making sure we end up in the best situation possible and I think we’re on the right path.”
