The discovery of a woman's body along Train Avenue early this morning has been connected by police statements to the missing persons case of Michaela Diemer.

Diemer, 31, was last seen Aug. 20 near the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo.

The body was found between West 41st and West 43rd on the mostly secluded and dark Train Avenue. That discovery came within a day of police arresting a man found in Diemer's car, which was found at East 37th Street and Cedar Avenue yesterday. The as-yet-unidentified man was arrested on an unrelated county warrant.

Later on Wednesday morning, police searched a Forestdale Avenue home (near the zoo) in connection with the case. It's unclear what connection that search had to the body found on Train.

The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Officer has not yet publicly identified the woman found this morning.
