The popular on-demand delivery app, Postmates, is finally pedaling its way to Cleveland, offering new job opportunities for those looking to make some extra cash and convenient delivery options for those not wanting to leave their house.

Rather than tying down a delivery courier to one restaurant, Postmates workers wander the city waiting for an order to come in, like Uber or Lyft drivers waiting for a fare. This change significantly expands the delivery range, pinging the Postmate (as a courier is called) nearest to your desired food or item and telling them where to pick it up.

Unlike Ubereats or other on-demand delivery apps, Postmates also offers the option of restaurant delivery services with the option for grocery delivery. Postmates is pretty lax on what they can and cannot deliver, but they will absolutely deny the delivery of gift cards, tobacco products, illegal items, live animals, marijuana and people.

One of the reasons Postmates is so popular in other cities is its ability to deliver booze, but unfortunately, Cleveland's market, thanks to liquor laws, will not offer the delivery of any alcohol products.

Postmates is set to officially launch in a few weeks, but the app is currently downloadable and scrollable, advertising a plethora of participating eateries (including ice cream and donuts) in addition to places like AutoZone, Best Buy and Walgreens.
