A weekly roundup of the top newsmakers around town.

1.

Josh Mandel's Cousins

: Mandel's extended family writes an open letter in the Cleveland Jewish News decrying Josh's backward views on gay marriage. Also, he never brings back the Tupperware.

2. Stevie Wonder: The legendary singer's pro-Obama performance at Cleveland State draws less than 200 people. He, of course, had no idea.

3. Nina Turner: Though she's not up for re-election, the State Senator hangs out during early voting to lift spirits in the long lines. Unfortunately, she doesn't use the time to discourage anyone wearing Velcro shoes from casting a ballot.

4. The West Side Market: After parties and galas and parades to celebrate its centennial, the venerable Cleveland institution returns to normalcy. Which is to say, Saturdays remain a clusterfuck.

5. Shena Hardin: The woman caught on camera driving on a sidewalk to get around a school bus is sentenced to wear an "Only an idiot would drive around a school bus" sign. Also has to sit in the back with that smelly kid.
