Rally for Kevin Keith, Who's Maintained His Innocence for 24 Years, Planned for May 7 in Columbus

Charles Keith will lead a rally in Columbus outside the office of Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine on May 7th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

"It's a march for justice," Keith told the Canton Repository.

That goes for his brother, Kevin Keith, who's been in prison for the last 24 years after being convicted of a triple murder in Bucyrus he has steadfastly said he had no part in, and others.

“How many people have (family) in prison, but don’t know what to do or (don’t) have any money? That’s what this is about," Charles Keith said.

Kevin Keith has maintained his innocence since the beginning, and the state's case and conviction have serious problems, as detailed in a lengthy Scene investigation last year. His brother and lawyers have been fighting for justice and running into judicial roadblocks left and right, though there's hope that recent filings may finally create some momentum.
