Search for Christina Adkins Continues in Field Off I-90: UPDATE

UPDATE: The FBI says that remains have been found at the site they are searching today. The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner arrived to determine if the remains are human confirmed Friday afternoon that human bones were indeed found. The identification process will likely take several weeks.

A press conference took place at 11 a.m. More information may be publicly announced later today.

For the third time in two months, the FBI and other investigators are combing a Cleveland location in the ongoing search for Christina Adkins - whether that be her remains or related clues. The search picked up this morning in a grassy field off I-90 and the Jennings Freeway.

Adkins, missing since 1995, ranks among Cleveland's longest-running missing persons cases. Throughout this summer and fall, the investigation has intensified.

"We do feel we are on to something," Vicki Anderson of Cleveland FBI says. “We are following up on some very good information."
