Olando Coleman, 19, was hit by a car yesterday on Public Square and has died from his injuries.

According to police, just after 5 p.m. they received a call for a pedestrian struck at Ontario Street and Euclid Avenue.A Pontiac Grand Am was operating southbound on Ontario Street at the Euclid Avenue intersection. As the driver continued through the intersection with a green light, a pedestrian skate board went into traffic.
Police say that Coleman then chased after his skateboard into traffic and was struck by the Grand Am. The driver stopped after hitting the teen and is cooperating with police.
