Friday evening, award-winning author Emily St. John Mandel will appear at Cleveland State University in conversation with one of the Northeast Ohio Master of Fine Arts' (NEOMFA) fiction faculty members, Imad Rahman.

The event, which is free and open to the public, gets underway at 7 p.m. in the Mather Mansion Dining Room on CSU's campus (2605 Euclid Ave). Following the conversation, attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions of their own. Naturally, books will be for sale.

Emily St. John Mandel's biggest hit was the best-selling 2014 post-apocalyptic novel Station Eleven, which was a finalist for a National Book Award and the PEN/Faulkner Award, and won the 2015 Arthur C. Mandel lives in New York City and writes for the online literary magazine The Millions. Her appearance at CSU is part of an ongoing series of readings and other events hosted at the NEOMFA's four constituent campuses: Cleveland State, the University of Akron, Kent State and Youngstown State.
