Living on the shores of Lake Erie means seeing ships come and go daily, but this summer about 20 of them will be a lot different than the others.

The Tall Ships Challenge has announced its locations for this summer, and Fairport Harbor in Lake County is on the list. The ships are visiting the harbor from July 8 to July 10.

The tall ships are no strangers to the Great Lakes, but the challenge allows sailing enthusiasts to see them all in designated spots. This year's fleet includes a replica Viking longship, a Spanish Galleon the US Brig Niagara and others. The ships will also race one another in between port pit stops in the Great Lakes 2016 Race Series.

You can get Tall Ships tickets online; a Single-Day Festival Only Pass is $10. A Single-Day On Board Tour Pass is $15.
