It appears that Northeast Ohioans are experiencing a rash of burglaries, in which the thieves have consistently taking, among other things,
cold meats.
Brian, a West Side victim who posts on the Ohio City message board, wrote: "Sometime Thursday, Friday or Saturday morning, someone pried open a locked rear window and took a computer, digital camera, dvd player and other items. Our bedroom was rifled through, coat pockets emptied and to top it off, they stole a package of bologna."
Brian also suffered a loss of bologna back in September as well.
Meanwhile, down in West Akron, one household recently suffered a similar theft. This time, the burglars opted for a less fatty option — a bag of frozen chicken breasts.
Bob, another Ohio City message board poster, offered this useful advice: "Consider switching to the following meat product that is less desirable to the thieves: HEADCHEESE."
