This is What the Demolished Lakewood High School Looks Like

Our man Eric Sandy is on the Lakewood beat these days. And indeed, the Lakewood Hospital circus is the biggest news story out of Cleveland's dense and friendly west side 'burb, but other things are happening as well.

Namely: school construction.

Lakewood is currently rebuilding three elementary schools (Lincoln, Roosevelt, and Grant) and two new wings at Lakewood High. Demolition at the high school wrapped up late last month, and construction of the new academic and athletic & performing arts wings is slated to begin very soon.

Full updates and photo galleries of all the Lakewood school construction frenzy can be rabidly consumed here. Be advised: If you only occasionally drive through Lakewood, heading north on Bunts (from I-90, say) is a shocker.
