The Free Arts in August Series at Lincoln Park is Back, and Here's What You Need to Know (2)

Each year, Tremont West partners with Ward 3 Councilman, Kerry McCormack, LAND Studio and Cleveland Public Theatre to present free professional dance, theatre and music in Lincoln Park during the month of August.

Raymond Bobgan, the Executive Artistic Director of Cleveland Public Theatre, curates the performances. This year, the Arts in August series opens with a performance by Cleveland Public Theatre’s Student Theatre Enrichment Program. The opening weekend also includes a performance of Macbeth by the Cleveland Shakespeare Festival.

The final weekend of the series will feature ContempOpera and the Cleveland Jazz Orchestra.

The events are free, and you can bring a picnic, order take-out from one of the Tuesdays in Tremont participants and bring a chair or a blanket.

8/4: Cleveland Public Theatre' s STEP
8/6: Cleveland Shakespeare Festival
8/11: Inlet Dance Theatre
8/12: Verb Ballets
8/18: Cleveland Opera Theater
8/19: Papo Ruiz Y La Dulzura de la Salsa
8/20: Me Him & Her Presents - Good Vibes
8/25: ContempOpera
8/26: Cleveland Jazz Orchestra (CJO)
