Two PSAs About Scene Boxes: 1) Don't Pee In Them; 2) Boxes Downtown Will Be Temporarily Removed for the RNC

On this lovely Tuesday afternoon, a couple of public service announcements from Scene HQ about the Scene boxes where you pick up the issue every week.

First of all, for the love of everything good and decent, don't pee in them. We'd say please, but this isn't exactly a situation where we should be politely pleading with you, or the gentleman (we use that term loosely, obviously) in the picture, to not urinate in them. A reader snapped that pic a little bit ago and we haven't really found a good use for it until now.

Which brings us to some non-disgusting newspaper box news:

Come July, when the RNC and the Trump Train arrive in Cleveland, there are a whole lot of restrictions about what can and can not be downtown. Word came down from the city last week that newspaper boxes fall into the latter category. Thusly, the Scene boxes in the downtown central business district will be temporarily removed by July 11. They'll reappear on or after July 25.

In the meantime, the weekly issue will still be distributed en masse downtown at your favorite hotels, bars, restaurants, coffee shops, barber shops, etc.

If you can't find a copy that week, do let us know and we'll help you out.
