Pet Mini Pig Stolen From West Side Home Found Dead

Update: Spam, the 15-pound pet mini pig stolen during the course of a break-in on the west side last week, was found dead yesterday near Coit Rd.

A GoFundMe had been organized collecting reward money for Spam's safe return. One of its owners, Valerie Couch, said they'll now either return the money or donate it to the APL.

(Original story 9/12/17): A 15-pound pet mini pig named Spam was allegedly stolen from Cleveland's west side yesterday.

One of the pig's owners returned home Monday to find his back window pushed out and his door unlocked, responding police reported.

The resident realized the pig was gone upon entering the house. A neighbor told police she noticed a strange man and car on the pig owners' property earlier that day.

Other items taken included two TVs, a tablet, jewelry and a camera. But it's the pet pig that the victims are most worried about. One of the owners took to Facebook yesterday saying:
