Panther woman

Posted By on Mon, Oct 2, 2006 at 12:56 PM

Yes, there was a time when people were motivated to do stuff like "take action," "fight the system" and "change the world" — things only printed on T-shirts nowadays. Don't believe us? Then go see Elaine Brown speak at The University of Akron at 9 a.m. on Saturday, October 7. Brown is the former chairwoman of the Black Panther Party, and one of the organization's most formidable historians. Her daughter, Ericka Abram, who currently resides in Akron, says her mother is an expert at loading a .45 and changing a diaper all at the same time — skills only a real woman could acquire.
