The Christian Dixie Chicks

Posted By on Thu, Dec 14, 2006 at 12:04 AM

J3, sort of a Christian version of the Dixie Chicks
Female country group J3 will perform a free concert at 6 p.m. Sunday, December 17 at North Eaton Christian Church (35895 Royalton Rd., Lorain County, at the intersection of Routes 82 and 83). They're like a Christian Dixie Chicks, but old-school, when they still had a foot in bluegrass. The band has just released a six-song Christmas EP, featuring standards and the original "He's Joseph," which was written by local singer-songwriter Diana Tyler. -- D.X. Ferris
