Ripped Off by Geraldo

Posted By on Tue, Dec 26, 2006 at 9:08 AM

Geraldo, seen here in Action Newsman mode.
While in town busting open the police shooting of 15-year-old Brandon McCloud, the crack sleuths at Geraldo At-Large must have picked up a copy of Scene. The cover story was "Cheating Death," the tale of a cross-dressing Nazi serial killer. It had all the elements of a Geraldo Rivera exclusive: cross dressing, Nazism. There was just a little problem with the "exclusive" part; luckily for Geraldo, no one reads us. The producers decided to swipe the story for themselves, and now "Cheating Death" -- only with much better hair and a strong smell of Jim Beam on the breath -- will air on Fox sometime in January. -- Jared Klaus
