PD Sports Editor Responds

Posted By on Thu, Feb 22, 2007 at 12:54 PM

In case anyone cares, which is highly unlikely, here is The Plain Dealer's response to my recent bitching about its Cavs' coverage:
Not every story in the sports section is going to be hard news. We offer a mixture of game stories, commentaries, news and features. Sometimes, like the day before the Indians even take the field at spring training, we run features. When there is news to report, we do. As far as your email yesterday, we stick to our own sources as to whether there are trade talks going on. We are not going to report every rumor that is written by someone on the Internet.
