Money Where Your Mouth Is: Lines Across Lines

Posted By on Mon, Oct 8, 2007 at 1:18 PM

The Scene Music Department are busy practicing for Scene's Best Of awards and talent show, rehearsing their re-enactment of the dance from that iPod commercial. Rather than vividly describe Lines Across Lines' mellow-yet-kinetic indie rock, we'll let the band do it themselves. Band: Lines Across Lines Hometown: Cleveland Sounds like: "Layered, sometimes dancy, D.C- influenced indie rock." Recommend for fans of: "Old U2, the Cure, Q and Not U." Fun fact: "The singer's father is an Elvis impersonator." Playing: Friday, October 12 at the Agora Ballroom (5000 Euclid Ave., 216-881-6911) Why you need to see them: "Because it's time you stopped sitting at home, playing on the internet with your virtual friends on MySpace, and time you went to a show and discovered some really good music." -- Chris, guitar, vocals
