Kucinich in his Natural Role: As a Punchline on the Colbert Report

Posted By on Mon, Oct 22, 2007 at 1:07 PM

What’s Congressman Dennis Kucinich carrying around in his pockets? The little guy’s been known to lug around an AFL-CIO membership card, a pocket-sized copy of the U.S. Constitution, a prayer from St. Francis, a ‘60s Topp’s card of Indian’s slugger Rocky Colavito, and his unlimited American Express Card, courtesy of the Federal Election Commission. Comedy Central’s Stephen Colbert invited Kucinich on “The Colbert Report” to empty his pockets on national television.
