Posted By on Thu, Nov 8, 2007 at 1:08 PM

This time, the Scene Music Department passes the mic to Masters of Luxury, the stoner-prog band that's taking the southern (330) territories by storm. Band: Masters of Luxury Hometown: Tallmadge Sounds like: “Sort of like Dillengerclublacksabbastadown back when they were still good.” Recommend for fans of: “Black Sabbath, Clutch, Dillinger Escape Plan, Tool and Corrosion of Conformity.” Fun fact: “Our album synchs up perfectly with no movie yet produced, as far as we know.” Playing: Saturday, November 10 at Club Khameleon (626 N. Water St., Kent) Why you need to see them: “Giving out free All Hail Records compilations because they’re taking up too much space in Tony’s house.” -- Jim, bass
