This week, Money Where Your Mouth Is brings you roots-rock from Patrick Sweaney & Deguello and blues you can use by Wallace Coleman and Dave Thomas -- not to be confused with Pere Ubu's David Thomas. Or the Wendy's guy. ... Band: Patrick Sweany Band Web:, Hometown: Massillon,OH Sounds like: "Magic Sam jamming with the Stooges." Recommend for fans of: "Bluesy, soul-drenched rock and roll." Fun fact: "We will, we will, rock you. Indeed." Playing: 9 p.m. Monday, December 3, opening for Deguello at the the Beachland Tavern (15711 Waterloo Ave., 216-383-1124) Why you need to see them: "We are playing with Deguello, from Austin TX. The singer/guitar player, Nick Curran, is one of my favorite musicians. He sings like little Richard, plays guitar like a MOTHER, and rocks like the RAMONES! It's going to be one of those shows you wished you hadn't missed." -- Patrick Sweany: throat, guitar, New Jack Hustler Act II: Band: Wallace Coleman and Dave Thomas Web: and Hometown: "Cleveland, OH and London, England, respectively." Sounds like: "American blues meets British Blues -- Little Walter, Muddy Waters, a touch of Clapton." Recommend for fans of: "The real thing." Fun fact: "Wallace and Dave met while Wallace was touring in England -- then Dave came to the States to record with Wallace."
