12 Days of Christmas, the Jewish Edition

Move over, Adam Sandler. Looks like your “Hanukkah Song” is about to get some competition. A 17-year-old British pop singer, Lauren Rose, is making headlines with her just-released single, an English version of the Jewish wedding classic “Hava Nagila." And according to the Israeli newspaper Haaretz (a totally unbiased source), British bookies are betting that Rose could have the best-selling Christmas song in the UK. -- Lisa Rab
