Whew. The Pogues can say "faggot" again.
That was quick. Apparently, the BBC doesn’t have a problem with the word “faggot” after all. Yesterday, the Britain’s premiere source for music, news, and shitcoms (pretty much all of their entertainment needs, when you think about it) banned the offensive word from the Pogues’ Christmas classic “Fairytale of New York.” Now they’re saying it’s OK. So, rejoice Brits! You’re “faggot”-filled “Fairytale” is now on the airwaves again! -- Michael Gallucci
