Posted By on Fri, Apr 11, 2008 at 10:00 AM

Add Collinwood’s Grovewood Tavern & Wine Bar (17105 Grovewood Ave., 216-531-4900) to the long list of joints that offer a bargain-packed Happy Hour, featuring select $5 wines and ‘tinis, $3 pints, and a rotating collection of $5 noshes. ... Among the eats, owner Beth Davis-Noragon points to past faves like the P.E.I. mussels in sausage, tomato, and fennel broth, smoked chicken and pepper-cheese quesadillas, mini oyster Po-Boys with Creole remoulade, and sesame-crusted ahi tuna with mango relish and wasabi aioli. “The menu changes frequently, but people can always check the website, www.grovewoodtavern.com, for current offerings,” Davis-Noragon reminds. Five featured wines are also $5 by the glass, as well as Lucksosawa martinis and cosmos, and Southern Comfort manhattans. Pints of Pilsner Urquell and Guinness go for three bucks each. Specials are available at the bar, only, each Monday through Friday, from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. TGIF. --- Elaine T.
