Holy Love Shack! B-52s sell out Cleveland

Posted By on Tue, Apr 29, 2008 at 10:47 AM

Tuesday night's B-52's/Eagle Seagull show at House of Blues is sold out (although you might be able to snag some tix on craigslist or elsewhere.) If this makes you really sad, click the video above for "Love Shack," the 1989 single that rejuvenated the career of the veteran band, which was founded way, way back in 1976. And click here for a vintage performance of their first big song, 1978's "Rock Lobster." Caution: Though it has extra cowbells, you'll also see singer Fred Scnheider, rail thin, and with an oversized mustache. It ain't pretty. -- D.X. Ferris
