Good morning, Cleveland. Here's some stuff to read while you try to convince your wife to use $10,000 on an entrance fee to the World Series of Poker instead of fixing the roof or saving the money for your kid's college tuition.

— A Cleveland man allegedly shot someone after losing a card game. What happened to the good old days when you brought the gun to rob the card game but didn't shoot anyone? (WOIO)

— Continuing with the local poker news: Good Morning Cleveland traffic reporter Patty Harken's husband won $41,967 at the World Series of Poker, taking 289th place. Harken has updated the status of their savings account from "stop and go with with minor delays" to "moving briskly with open roads to Prada town." (WEWS)

— An Ohio woman bought a LeBron James trinket at a garage sale for $5. Turns out the jewels on the pendant were real and the piece is worth $10,000. So, to go over this one more time: Step 1) Attend garage sale. Step 2) ???. Step 3) Profit. (AP)

— Cleveland is getting a Cleveland International Welcome Center, a building that will serve as an initial concrete embrace from the city to immigrants. They could have just used Sokolowski's and saved a little money, no? (Cleveland.com)
