I swear . . . there we . . . dammit, she’s nodding off again . . . fine, have it your way . . .

Now taking the Cleveland Scene’s Award for Best Mug Shot: Mary Torres. Look at that pain, that consternation, the deep seated malaise.

The Lorain woman has a lot to be bummed about. Not only was she snagged for driving under the influence, it turns out the cops found three little kids in the backseat of her car. According 19 Action News, Torres was pulled over Wednesday after running a stop sign at West 22nd Street and Beech Avenue. Police found the woman’s 3 and 6 year old sons in the back seat as well as a 6-year-old niece. None were buckled up.

"According to the police report, Torres practically fell to the ground when officers asked her to step out of the vehicle. She admitted to downing four shots a half an hour before getting behind the wheel with the children in her care," the news station reports.

Already an award winner for her picture performance, Torres has also been nominated by Scene staffers for the year’s big one: Worst Parent.
