Ronald Pudder Accused of Setting African American Church on Fire

Nice beard.
  • Nice beard.

Ronald Pudder looks like an upstanding American citizen.

OK, not really, but appearances don't mean everything.

Unfortunately, it's not his looks that are in question at the moment; it's his actions.

A grand jury indicted him today for allegedly setting the only African American church in a small Ohio town on fire.

Such a brazenly hateful and racist act is not so well tolerated in the city.

According to 19 Action News, the 23-year-old Puddler is accused of setting the First Azusa Apostolic Faith Church in Conneaut, Ohio, ablaze in May.

If convicted, he is looking at up to 20 years in jail.
