Jimmy Dimora, who pleaded not guilty to all charges brought by the Feds last week, will be allowed to resume his job as a Cuyahoga County Commissioner.

A judge ruled this morning that despite the mountains of corruption charges, Dimora can go back to work, albeit it under a litany of conditions.

The Plain Dealer reports:

U.S. Magistrate Judge Nancy Vecchiarelli this morning said Dimora, who has pleaded not guilty to 26 corruption-related charges, will have to refrain from voting on any issue involving: personnel; the juvenile justice center; the county engineer's office; companies providing halfway house services; funding for the county courts; unions or union members; matters related to Parma, Lakewood, Bedford, Solon and Berea.

He also must refrain from discussing these issues unless his lawyer is present, and refrain from voting on any matter that involves a private contractor implicated in the ongoing county corruption investigation.

Dimora quipped that he will do a lot of abstaining, though he probably didn't mean from food.
