Your Friends in Gayness ...: Cleveland ranked 12th in a recent study on the gayest cities in America, based mainly on the facts that 1) we have a gay country line dance group and 2) we’ll be hosting the 2014 Gay Games.

... And Bastardry: The Daily Beast ranked Ohio the 46th most tolerant state in the country, presumably out of a possible 50. This, of course, does not bode well for the 2014 Gay Games.

To Serve and Protect Their Asses Cleveland police improperly threw out 52 rape cases without identifying a single suspect. On the plus side: They had no idea what they were doing.

This Week's Index: You’re hunkered down indoors for the foreseeable future — which is good, because there are people outside. And as a rule, people suck.
